We envision a future where everything recyclable actually gets recycled and reused, with as little as possible reaching the landfill. So we built our own Picking Line and run our loads through it.
Every Lunas dumpster comes back to our yard and runs across a sorting and picking line where crews separate materials by type. On average, 75% of each load is recovered and sent back into use instead of buried.
Separated into ferrous and non-ferrous and sent to buyback centers for re-melting.
Ground for playground mix, landscaping, and pressboard manufacturing.
Baled and shipped to processing centers nationwide to become new paper products.
Baled and exported for mold-injection applications and new plastic goods.
Screened and sold to farmers to balance soil pH instead of sitting in a landfill.
